Getting Around & Safety Tips
Transport
We recommend flying into Cape Town International Airport (CPT). Laurent at Lourensford Wine Estate is approximately 30 - 40 minutes from the airport. Renting a car is a great option if you plan to explore Cape Town and the Winelands, while Uber, Bolt and pre-booked transfers are also widely available.
Driving & Safety
South Africa drives on the left. Check your car rental company’s license requirements before traveling. Keep valuables out of sight, avoid poorly lit areas at night, and plan longer drives during daylight. Arrange a transfer, Uber or designated driver for the wedding evening.
